Al contrario, utiliza este periodo para procesar, organizar y consolidar la informaci\u00f3n recibida a lo largo del d\u00eda. Es durante el sue\u00f1o cuando se fortalecen muchas de las experiencias vividas, favoreciendo tanto el aprendizaje como el desarrollo de nuevas habilidades.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u00bfRecuerdas ese nuevo acorde que practicaste en la guitarra durante el d\u00eda? \u00bfO esa secuencia de pasos de la clase de baile? Mientras duermes, el cerebro trabaja para fortalecer estas nuevas conexiones neuronales, para que puedas recordarlas m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente la pr\u00f3xima vez.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>C\u00f3mo se forma la memoria<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/umajuda.com.br\/es\/o-que-e-a-memoria\/\">memoria<\/a> \u00e9 um processo din\u00e2mico, multifacetado, composto por v\u00e1rias etapas. Para que uma informa\u00e7\u00e3o seja transformada em mem\u00f3ria a ser usada no futuro, o c\u00e9rebro promove tr\u00eas etapas: codifica\u00e7\u00e3o, consolida\u00e7\u00e3o e recupera\u00e7\u00e3o<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La primera es la codificaci\u00f3n, que ocurre cuando entramos en contacto con algo nuevo \u2014informaci\u00f3n, experiencia o habilidad\u2014 y el cerebro crea un registro neuronal. Esta etapa est\u00e1 influenciada por el inter\u00e9s en lo nuevo, la atenci\u00f3n y nuestro estado emocional<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Durante la consolidaci\u00f3n, esta nueva informaci\u00f3n se vuelve m\u00e1s duradera. Gran parte de esta informaci\u00f3n se registra en el hipocampo, que act\u00faa como una \"central energ\u00e9tica temporal\"<sup>3<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Luego, al dormir, la informaci\u00f3n se vuelve menos dependiente del hipocampo y se traslada a la corteza cerebral, donde se somete al proceso de consolidaci\u00f3n sist\u00e9mica. All\u00ed, se almacena durante per\u00edodos m\u00e1s prolongados<sup>4,5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Finalmente, cuando necesitamos acceder a esta informaci\u00f3n, el cerebro realiza la recuperaci\u00f3n. \u00bfRecuerdas cuando recuerdas esa respuesta en un examen? Eso es recuperaci\u00f3n, acceder a un recuerdo consolidado<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Como se mencion\u00f3 anteriormente, mientras duermes, el cerebro est\u00e1 activo. Contrariamente a lo que se crey\u00f3 durante mucho tiempo, el cerebro trabaja durante el sue\u00f1o en etapas fundamentales de la memoria.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 sucede con la memoria mientras dormimos?<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>O sono \u00e9 um per\u00edodo composto por ciclos diferentes que se alternam, e cada um deles tem finalidades espec\u00edficas. (Para saber mais, acesse o conte\u00fado completo <a href=\"https:\/\/umajuda.com.br\/es\/a-importancia-do-sono-o-que-acontece-quando-dormimos\/\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Durante el <strong>sue\u00f1o NREM<\/strong>, m\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente en la fase m\u00e1s profunda, <strong>NREM 3<\/strong>, se produce la consolidaci\u00f3n de la memoria declarativa, relacionada con el conocimiento de hechos y eventos que se pueden recordar voluntariamente. Por ejemplo, el nombre de alguien que acabamos de conocer<sup>4,6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n durante el <strong>NREM 3<\/strong>, se produce la reactivaci\u00f3n de la memoria. El cerebro reproduce de manera similar los patrones de actividad de las experiencias vividas durante el d\u00eda. Es como si repasara todo lo aprendido. Esto ocurre para fortalecer estas nuevas conexiones neuronales y transferir esta informaci\u00f3n a regiones de la corteza cerebral, donde puede almacenarse durante per\u00edodos m\u00e1s prolongados<sup>5,7<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Durante el <strong>sue\u00f1o REM<\/strong> el cerebro trabaja integrando la informaci\u00f3n reci\u00e9n aprendida con el conocimiento existente, creando asociaciones entre ideas y reorganizando las experiencias emocionales. Es durante esta etapa del sue\u00f1o que se desarrollan nuevas habilidades motoras, la creatividad y nuestra capacidad para resolver problemas<sup>6,8<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Tras leer todo esto, resulta m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil comprender por qu\u00e9 privarse del sue\u00f1o no ayuda. Mientras el cuerpo descansa, el cerebro est\u00e1 activo y aprendiendo.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 sucede cuando dormimos poco?<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La falta de sue\u00f1o, adem\u00e1s de dificultar la consolidaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n del d\u00eda, tambi\u00e9n puede interferir con la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos recuerdos al d\u00eda siguiente. Esto ocurre porque la privaci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o interfiere con el funcionamiento eficiente del hipocampo, donde se produce el registro inicial de estos nuevos recuerdos<sup>9<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La privaci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n afecta la atenci\u00f3n, la concentraci\u00f3n y reduce la velocidad de procesamiento de la informaci\u00f3n. Y dado que estos procesos forman parte de la codificaci\u00f3n de la memoria, esto puede afectar el almacenamiento adecuado de esta nueva experiencia<sup>10<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>E \u00e9 por isso que trocar as horas de sono por horas de estudo \u00e9 contraprodutivo.\u00a0 Voc\u00ea pode at\u00e9 passar mais tempo revisando o conte\u00fado, mas pode ser menos eficiente quando precisar lembrar dele<sup>8,11<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Consideraciones finales<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Si la repetici\u00f3n y la pr\u00e1ctica son fundamentales para el aprendizaje, tambi\u00e9n lo es el sue\u00f1o. Aunque antes consider\u00e1bamos el sue\u00f1o \u00fanicamente como un momento de descanso, hoy sabemos que esto dista mucho de ser correcto. Dormir es un paso fundamental en el aprendizaje, ya sea de contenido acad\u00e9mico o de nuevas habilidades motoras.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Mientras duermes, el cerebro fortalece las conexiones neuronales, consolida los recuerdos, organiza las experiencias y transforma la nueva informaci\u00f3n en algo m\u00e1s duradero.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Cerrar el libro, apagar el ordenador y salir de clase no significa que el aprendizaje haya terminado. De hecho, muchos pasos importantes tienen lugar durante el sue\u00f1o. As\u00ed que, la pr\u00f3xima vez que pienses en cambiar tu horario de sue\u00f1o, quiz\u00e1s valga la pena reconsiderarlo.
