Y quiz\u00e1s en uno de esos momentos alguien te dijo que la vida no se trata de lo que otros te hacen, sino de lo que haces con lo que otros te hacen. Porque mientras algunos se rinden, otros eligen aprender y seguir adelante. Estas personas desarrollan resiliencia.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la resiliencia?<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Esta capacidad de avanzar, aprender y crecer ante la adversidad es biol\u00f3gica; es un proceso que ocurre en el cerebro y se moldea a trav\u00e9s de nuestras experiencias, relaciones y nuestra historia<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>En otras palabras, la resiliencia se ve influenciada por factores biol\u00f3gicos, psicol\u00f3gicos y sociales. Implica diversas habilidades, desde la evaluaci\u00f3n de riesgos hasta la reinterpretaci\u00f3n de los acontecimientos. Esto significa que es un proceso din\u00e1mico que se puede aprender, entrenar y transformar a lo largo de la vida<sup>1,2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Adversidad: C\u00f3mo se comporta el cerebro<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Cuando el cerebro percibe una se\u00f1al de peligro, lo primero que hace es activar la am\u00edgdala, que aumenta el estado de alerta y tambi\u00e9n es responsable de la respuesta de \"lucha o huida\".\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, entra en juego el eje HPA (eje hipot\u00e1lamo-hipofisario-adrenal), liberando cortisol, responsable de mantener los niveles de energ\u00eda para la acci\u00f3n, ya sea de lucha o huida<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Otra regi\u00f3n esencial es la corteza prefrontal, responsable de regular las emociones, la toma de decisiones, la planificaci\u00f3n y la autorregulaci\u00f3n. En situaciones de estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico, esta regi\u00f3n se debilita y la am\u00edgdala se vuelve hiperactiva. Por lo tanto, las respuestas emocionales pueden volverse desproporcionadas e impulsivas<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Aprendiendo de la Adversidad<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La resiliencia surge cuando el cerebro aprende de la adversidad. La clave de este aprendizaje reside en la <a href=\"https:\/\/umajuda.com.br\/es\/afinal-de-contas-o-que-e-neuroplasticidade\/\">neuroplasticidad<\/a>, que es simplemente la capacidad del cerebro para reorganizarse, formando nuevas conexiones y v\u00edas neuronales.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Imagina que est\u00e1s aprendiendo a hornear un pastel por primera vez. Agregas demasiada harina y queda seco y un poco duro. Luego, la siguiente vez, mides los ingredientes con mayor precisi\u00f3n y el pastel queda suave, pero lo dejas en el horno demasiado tiempo y se hornea demasiado. La tercera vez, mides los ingredientes correctamente y cronometras el horneado correctamente. Resultado: un pastel suave, bien horneado y delicioso.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Al exponerse a dosis manejables de desaf\u00edos y dificultades, el cerebro aprende: la am\u00edgdala no se vuelve demasiado sensible y el sistema de regulaci\u00f3n emocional se fortalece. El cerebro aprende a interpretar y procesar estas situaciones<sup>4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>El rol del entorno<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Si bien la biolog\u00eda es fundamental en el desarrollo de la resiliencia, el entorno en el que nos encontramos tambi\u00e9n desempe\u00f1a un papel importante. Los entornos que transmiten seguridad y relaciones de apoyo pueden contribuir a este proceso. El apoyo y los v\u00ednculos estables crean oportunidades para este camino<sup>5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Desarrollando la Resiliencia a trav\u00e9s de la Regulaci\u00f3n Emocional<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La regulaci\u00f3n emocional tambi\u00e9n juega un papel importante en el desarrollo de la resiliencia. A trav\u00e9s de ella, podemos practicar la reevaluaci\u00f3n cognitiva, que nos permite reinterpretar una experiencia desde una nueva perspectiva<sup>6<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Esto tambi\u00e9n permite fortalecer la comunicaci\u00f3n entre la corteza prefrontal y la am\u00edgdala, lo que ayuda a reducir las respuestas emocionales exacerbadas. En otras palabras, la reevaluaci\u00f3n cognitiva ayuda a modificar la respuesta biol\u00f3gica<sup>6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, saber reconocer, nombrar y hablar sobre lo que sentimos contribuye significativamente. Los estudios indican que cuando hablamos de emociones, ya sea en terapia, en conversaciones con amigos o incluso por escrito, esto genera una disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad de la am\u00edgdala y un aumento de la actividad de la corteza prefrontal, lo que, a su vez, influye en nuestra respuesta a la adversidad y contribuye al desarrollo de la resiliencia<sup>7<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Con toda la informaci\u00f3n del texto, resulta m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil comprender que la resiliencia no tiene nada que ver con la personalidad, ni siquiera con la falta de fuerza de voluntad. Es algo que debemos dedicarnos a construir, desarrollar y utilizar a lo largo de la vida.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Esto se debe a que nuestra historia de vida es fundamental para el proceso.
