Es entonces cuando entra en juego la regulaci\u00f3n emocional.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La regulaci\u00f3n emocional es lo que nos ayuda a controlar nuestro estado emocional. Por ejemplo, modere los sentimientos de tristeza, miedo y, en cambio, busque motivos para estar tranquilo o feliz<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Es la regulaci\u00f3n emocional la que nos ayuda a comprender la reacci\u00f3n emocional sentida, y nos lleva a ser m\u00e1s objetivos ante una situaci\u00f3n adversa. Nos ayuda a resolver problemas de forma m\u00e1s racional, evitando que nuestras emociones obstruyan nuestro juicio<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Por el contrario, no regular las emociones puede provocar reacciones exacerbadas, que contribuyen a un aumento de los niveles de estr\u00e9s, adem\u00e1s de provocar ansiedad y tristeza. Adem\u00e1s, si esta falta de regulaci\u00f3n emocional es constante puede generar trastornos mentales, trastornos alimentarios, depresi\u00f3n, entre otros<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Si notas que tus reacciones emocionales a veces se salen de control, debes saber que es posible aprender o mejorar la regulaci\u00f3n emocional para tener control sobre estos sentimientos, y no al rev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>C\u00f3mo practicar la regulaci\u00f3n emocional<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>1 - Comprende lo que est\u00e1s sintiendo: <\/strong>cuando algo te provoca una reacci\u00f3n emocional, detente, respira, eval\u00faa y comprende lo que est\u00e1s sintiendo en ese momento. Comprenda qu\u00e9 caus\u00f3 este sentimiento<sup>3<\/sup>;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>2 - Acepta tus emociones: <\/strong>no juzgues tus sentimientos, la mejor manera es aceptar lo que est\u00e1s sintiendo y ser comprensivo contigo mismo para procesar estas emociones<sup>3<\/sup>;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>3 - Reconocer los desencadenantes: <\/strong>muchas veces cuando no estamos c\u00f3modos con lo que estamos sintiendo es porque no sabemos reconocer qu\u00e9 lo provoc\u00f3. Por ejemplo: cuando aparezca la ansiedad, intenta comprender el desencadenante que despert\u00f3 este sentimiento. En un momento como este, redirigir tu atenci\u00f3n, o incluso tomar un descanso de lo que est\u00e1s haciendo, puede ser de gran valor<sup>3<\/sup>;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>4 - Cambia tus sentimientos: <\/strong>la vida diaria siempre est\u00e1 ocupada, tenemos tanto que hacer que procesar tus sentimientos puede no entrar en la agenda en ese momento. Entonces, puedes escribirlo en alg\u00fan lugar, para no perder esa percepci\u00f3n y luego reflexionar sobre ello nuevamente. O bien, puedes transformar los pensamientos negativos en positivos<sup>3<\/sup>;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>5 - Haz actividad f\u00edsica: <\/strong>salir a caminar, jugar al f\u00fatbol o incluso hacer pesas son ejemplos de actividades que te quitan la concentraci\u00f3n de lo que sucede en tu mente y en tu cuerpo.
