Pero lo cierto es que la salud mental es algo serio, y no cuidarla puede acarrear graves consecuencias cognitivas, de concentraci\u00f3n, de memoria y de otro tipo.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>As\u00ed como la prevenci\u00f3n es el mejor camino cuando hablamos de salud f\u00edsica, en salud mental tambi\u00e9n es fundamental.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Ignorar tu salud mental tiene graves consecuencias<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Uno de los s\u00edntomas m\u00e1s comunes asociados con la salud mental es la ansiedad. Seg\u00fan la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), el 31,6% de los j\u00f3venes brasile\u00f1os entre 18 y 24 a\u00f1os la padecen. Y el 26,8% de los brasile\u00f1os fueron diagnosticados por los m\u00e9dicos como ansiosos<sup>1<\/sup>. Otro aspecto muy conocido es el estr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Sin embargo, muchos tienden a ignorar estos s\u00edntomas. Sin embargo, la falta de atenci\u00f3n de salud mental puede provocar trastornos psicol\u00f3gicos, como depresi\u00f3n y p\u00e1nico, pero tambi\u00e9n s\u00edntomas f\u00edsicos.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>El cuerpo somatiza el abandono de la salud mental en migra\u00f1as, problemas estomacales, cansancio extremo, insomnio, dolores musculares, taquicardia e incluso alergias cut\u00e1neas. La somatizaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n puede provocar enfermedades m\u00e1s graves, como hipertensi\u00f3n, diabetes y accidentes cerebrovasculares<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo puedo aplicar la prevenci\u00f3n a mi salud mental?<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Aunque la prevenci\u00f3n es diferente para cada persona, hay h\u00e1bitos que podemos cambiar o incorporar y que ser\u00e1n fundamentales a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Uno de ellos habla de tus sentimientos. En la sociedad actual todav\u00eda existe un gran estigma sobre debatir c\u00f3mo se siente y todav\u00eda hay quienes creen que la terapia es s\u00f3lo para personas enfermas. Sin embargo, hablar de tus sentimientos con un terapeuta o un amigo, que entienda que no eres el \u00fanico que se siente as\u00ed, puede hacerte sentir menos solo y darte m\u00e1s fuerzas para afrontar determinadas situaciones<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Los siguientes consejos pueden parecer un clich\u00e9, pero lo cierto es que realmente funcionan y tambi\u00e9n contribuyen al cuidado de la salud mental. Una dieta equilibrada, una buena rutina de sue\u00f1o y actividad f\u00edsica impactan en tu estado de \u00e1nimo y bienestar general<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Otro h\u00e1bito importante es practicar un hobby. Realizar una actividad que te proporcione placer aporta m\u00e1s de lo que imaginas. Ayudan a la concentraci\u00f3n y la memoria, y lo mejor de todo, sin generar estr\u00e9s<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Ten cuidado con lo que ves en las redes sociales y sabe filtrar todo lo que te llega<sup>2<\/sup>. El c\u00e9sped de esa persona a la que sigues s\u00f3lo es m\u00e1s verde porque s\u00f3lo te muestra esa fracci\u00f3n m\u00e1s verde del jard\u00edn. El resto podr\u00eda estar muerto y no lo sabes, as\u00ed que filtra las redes sociales para no compararte y establecer par\u00e1metros demasiado altos, e incluso inalcanzables.
